Pasta with cheese and cream sauce

Let’s get started:

  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil, add salt, and add the pasta. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  2. In another saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add finely chopped garlic to the melted butter and fry until golden brown.
  4. Pour the cream into the saucepan with the garlic and butter, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce in the saucepan.
  6. Sprinkle with grated cheese and gently toss.
  7. Serve the pasta with the cheese and cream sauce hot and enjoy!

Variation ideas:

  • Cheese balls – as indicated in the recipe
  • Mushrooms – sauté separately and add to the sauce
  • Bacon or ham – fry until crispy
  • Spinach – add to the sauce 2 minutes before done
  • Salmon – cut into pieces and add to the finished dish
