Pasta with stewed meat


A budget dish is prepared quickly and acts as a good analogue of navy-style pasta. Any tubular-shaped pasta is suitable: lumachine, cavatappi, penne rigate and others.

  1. Place a pot with water for boiling pasta on the stove. Cut onion into cubes.
  2. Heat up a frying pan and sauté the onion in olive oil until becoming translucent golden brown.
  3. Drain any excess liquid from the can of stewed meat and add it to the pan.
  4. Add salt, pepper and your favorite seasonings.
  5. Stir and simmer the resulting mass under the lid for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Turn off the stove and leave the stew with onions for a while so that  it is infused. At this time boil the pasta in salted water. When ready, do not forget to add a piece of butter in it.
  7. Mix pasta with stew and serve, garnished with fresh herbs.
