Navy-style pasta


Classic Russian recipe of navy-style pasta have been a favorite dish of sailors for many decades. Its main components are pasta, onions and finely chopped meat. The dish is easy to prepare even for those who are completely far from cooking.

  1. Boil pasta until ‘al dente’ (its center should remain slightly firm).
  2. Coarsely chop the onions and meat, fry them in a pan, adding salt and your favorite spices.
  3. Pass the resulting mixture through a meat grinder.
  4. Then send it back to the pan. Add tomato paste and a pinch of pepper. Simmer until done.
  5. Mix cooked pasta with minced meat and serve.
